1. A fan base must be built for an artist in order to achieve sustained career success.
2. A fan base is built through personal appearances.
3. Personal appearances succeed when the artist “connects†with the audience.
For a new artist JD Jam follows this approach initially on a local level, then expanding to several regions and finally on to national and international markets. This is a building process that serves the artist on a career prospective.
This is not an approach that prioritizes efforts to seek the elusive path to a “one hit wonderâ€.
