About Me

Hi all, this is my myspace for all recordings that I do. Decided to call it 'Bad Apple' because bad = good where I'm from, and I will now be doing all of my work on an Apple Mac, however, these songs were recorded on a PC using Cubase SX. All were recorded between 2005-06 for my Music Technology AS/A level course. I don't actually own a studio (yet), but all of these were done in a profesional recording studio. More information on the actual songs in the blogs. Iris, Ordinary Day and The A&B Song are all covers, but Flashback is a piece that was written to accompany a poem.

Band Members: Just me, Claire Bayley. Better known to most as Titch. All recording, mixing & mastering was done in the same studio.
Influences: Music-wise, The Goo Goo Dolls (my favourite band ever), Tom McRae, Counting Crows, Damien Rice, Guns N' Roses (gotta love the heavier music!), The Immediate, Jeff Buckley, Gin Blossoms, 3 Doors Down, The Ataris, Bright Eyes, The Mascara Story, Open Hand..... etc etc.

Production-wise, Glen Ballard, Rob Cavallo, Robby Takac & John Rzeznik, Brendan B. Benson, Chris Walla, Steve Lilywhite, Adam Duritz & Simon Ash =)
Sounds Like: Not half as over produced as most of the music we listen to nowadays.
