Vitality **So. Cal. Show!**

About Me

Vitality formed in summer of 2006, as a project lead by guitarist Brandon Nedleman and bassist Cory Fleming. A few months later David Schlichter joined the band as the second guitarist. Once David joined they started looking a drummer, and decided to take the band to another level. Mitch Feldmann soon filled the position as a drummer, but shortly after Cory decided to part with the band in order to focus on his other project: “Shadows of Illusion”. Michael Rodriguez replaced Cory Fleming as the bassist and the band was able to resume writing new material while searching for a singer. Months later Phil Popovic took up vocals and the line up was finally complete. In the duration of next 8 months the band changed its name to “Massoyer” and played numerous shows with various local bands including Artisan, Warbringer, and Abysmal Dawn.
The band was not satisfied with its musical direction and wanted to move to a heavier style. Phil Popovic and Michael Rodriguez departed from the band to pursue other interests. The band name was changed to the original name “Vitality”. The band quickly found new vocalist to match the sound they had in mind. Victor Mikhaltsevich, previously the guitarist of Warbringer, joined on vocals and the band began to move in a new musical direction. Bassist Steve Cook quickly filled the spot but later left due to other opportunities available for him.
Currently, Vitality is a melodic death metal band with a wide spectrum of musical influences, ranging from classical music to death metal. We look forward to writing new material, playing more shows, and recording in the near future.
