Once upon a time, in a desert far, far, away...there lived a girl by the name of Adriana. Now, Adriana had a lot of friends in high school but never considered herself too popular so she lived life with nothing but calm waters ahead. Eleven years later, Adriana finds herself: working, FINALLY done with school (WHOO HOO!! - Um, excuse me, I'll take a Master's in Education for $200 Alex), single (dating and trying to put yourself out there is too volatile - I think I may just swear off men), and living in Los Angeles (not everyone in LA is totally shallow - there are a few good people out there; you just gotta look real hard). How's that for an abstract?My one constant in this life continues to be "SALSA" (No, not dancing...the kind you eat...considered to some as its own food group). In 2003 I started a very small (to this day it's still small) side business manufacturing and selling salsa (my dear mama's recipes) out of my humble little (and when I say little I mean it - it's dinky) kitchen. Now I will say that while making some extra dinero is fun, my real satisfaction comes from creating a product that people enjoy - some people just can't get enough of it. I have been asked if I lace my salsa with crack but that's for me to know and for you to experience once you've tasted it. Who knows where this endeavor will take me - maybe a future installment of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous - but until then I hope to grow as an entrepreneur and pray for my champagne wishes and caviar dreams to come true.
