Diamonds of Rome formed February 2008 out of Carlsbad California. It all started in 2007 by the singer and lead guitarist Jess. Jess started to gather several of his unfinished solo tracks that he had been neglecting for some time. He took these tracks and started to work with long time friend and collaborator Tyler. Now with a drummer at hand many of these unfinished tracks became completed songs. As 2007 came to a end Jess realized that what he needed was to push his work beyond a solo act and form a band. In January of 2008 Jess and Tyler started rehearsing and collaborating with friend and local guitarist Daniel. The three quickly realized that they had an instant chemistry that couldn’t be ignored. Soon after, they added Ryan on Bass to complete their sound. Within weeks of completing the lineup and naming the band, Diamonds of Rome have played all over the San Diego area and are hard at work developing their fan base and sound.
