Indie Music Night

About Me

Indie Music Night is monthly evening (a Saturday 6pm-9.30pm) of PREMIUM quality singer/songwriters and bands which takes place in the intimate Griggstown Pavilion. Admission is a donation, and tasty home baked treats and coffee are $1. The evening leans towards and eclectic array of singer/songwriters and bands. We tend to get an attentive, well behaved, clean, and "freakishly attentive" audience of 50 or more. They like walks on the beach and red wine. The show is hosted by singer/songwriter Sarah Donner with her sidekick sound man Handsome Joseph McLean. Very casual, rustic, cozy, and Norwegian.

A recording of artists is available for $25. Admission is a suggested donation...

INTERESTED IN PLAYING? Send a message to [email protected]. Myspace messages get lost in the mix so please just send an email. We have an 8 channel Behringer mixer and 3 mics. Because of the intimate space and residential neighborhood, drum kits are not allowed unless brushes are used. Sets are 30 minutes long. Sound check is at 5pm and is required for acts with more than one artist/instrument.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

DIRECTIONS to GRIGGSTOWN PAVILION:
(careful it's in Princeton Township not Borough... and people tend to get lost!)
From Princeton: Take Rt. 1 North, Take jughandle left onto New Rd. (by Red Roof Inn), Follow New Rd. down a few miles and cross over Rt. 27. This becomes Bunkerhill Rd. Continue a 1.5 miles past golf course and Lutheran Church. Take left onto Washington Ave. The Pavilion is the yellow building set back off the road on the right.

From New Brunswick: Take Rt. 1 South, Take right onto New Rd. and follow directions above.
The Pavilion is next door to 373 Bunkerhill Rd., Princeton, NJ 08540
