About Me

Myspace Backgrounds At present my original band Out Of Order is on hiatus. We were on a small Indie lable called Renaissance Records that has since gone out of business. We had been together for about 10yrs and needed a break badly. During the break I wanted to stay on my toes and concentrate more on my vocal chops, and thus started a cover project that turned into a Creed/Godsmack tribute approprietly named Greed. We did more than well in the Cleveland/Akron scene, and it gave me a good workout vocally. After about 2 1/2yrs that got old and I decided to take a complete break from it all to concentrate on family and health. During my time with the cover/tribute project I tore my throat up quite a bit with the Godsmack vocals, and my pack a day camel habit and ended up having throat surgery to have my tonscils removed. I recovered more than well and gave up the pack a day habit to find that I could actually sing a bit. Enough of me and back to music. The music that is on here are original songs that were recorded in the early part of Out of Order's career, and the early part of my vocal experience. In the 1st few years of the bands inception I was a guitarist and we were a 5 piece with a lead vocalist. The band was very lucky and easy from the get go, we also had gigs lined up before we even had enough tunes to play, but we did it. After a dozen shows we decided to get our heads together and record, and as soon as you do this ,you find out who can hang, 2 of us didn't make the cut. So there we were in the studio, no lead vocals, and no lead guitarist, we franticly(sp?) searched for replacments for a about a year. During that time on a limited budget of about $1000 bucks, we went into Modern Recording Studios owned and run by John Walsh (who has since then sold his business and joined the team at LAVA ROOM RECORDING STUDIOS which is The premeir studio in Cleveland Ohio.) and recorded our 1st effort under the tutledge of our engineer Robert Mozic and the mucho experience of John Walsh himself. Bob and John decided that since we couldn't find the right vocalist, the 3 of us should get in the booth and give it a try. I guess I was the one that was picked because ever since then I've been doing the singing and having fun doing it. We recorded 10 songs in 1 take and ended up with 9 which we were extatic about, we thought that we would only be able to pull off 4. These are 4 of the 9 songs here at MySpace. The White-Boy doing his best Rapping on Torme and, the bridge sections of Analyze, is my co-writer and Bass player for the last 13yrs David Scott Campbell (he is currently putting his myspace info together, check it out soon) This was to be a demo for record companies, but we were so proud of what we did with a miniscul budget of a $1000 bucks that we decided we would never rerecord them and leave them as they are. Since then we have done our recordings at Pacifica Studios with Byron Nemeth at the helm. Listen to some of Byron's music here on MySpace.

Band Members:My Band for 10yrs. has mainly consisted of 2 other great guys besides myself. The 1st being David Campbell on Bass and the occasional Rap and the 2nd being Ken Gosselin on Drums. Which leaves myself on Guitars and Lead Vocals.
Influences:
To many to list. I love almost all types of music but tend to waver more towards hard rock and metal because It makes the hairs on my arm stick up. Anything that has an awesome guitar riff with a huge beat and funky bassline is for me.
