Shaun Downton AKA Sytrix was born in Jersey and now resides in Atlanta. He came from the days of 80's freestyle, finding his way into the EDM scene in 2000 and has been hooked ever since. Sytrix began spinning in the summer of 2004 and had his first gig within 4 months. Since the day he mixed those first tracks, Sytrix has been ready to rock the crowd anyway he can - priding himself in his ability to mix an eclectic, heart-pumping set ranging from the lightest tracks to the funkiest and then to the nastiest nuskool and electro out there. Not keeping himself set into one particular genre or style, Sytrix still has the ability to throw down trance, DNB, and 80's freestyle sets but breaks are definitely his forte and his passion. He has dropped wax alongside J-Break, Viro, Factor E, Dynamix II, Chris Carter, Storm & Trevor Rockwell, ReL1, Autobots, Hostage Knick, Matt K, Jimmy Joslin, Dj Orchid, Aaron Sigmon, Skip-A-Beat, and many more locally, nationally, and internationally known talents.
