philosophy... moments of love and the people I associate them with. times of awakening and freedom. recognizing (or inducting) beauty at the most unexpected points of life. refusing to be bordered or limited by expectations, standards, and obligations. listening. sharing. the points where hope becomes reality or reality ceases to be something I must obey, but rather something I'm an active participant of AND something I enjoy being a part of. irregularities and imperfections being seen in a new light (as in art or expression)... not EMPHASIZING or worrying about emphasis too much. opening arms to someone new. doing something new. going somewhere new. the unexplored. the unknown. the mystery. the convenience of ignorance. following intuitions. after having seen the world in an utterly objective and logical way without meaning or purpose or any sense of value, or any SENSE at all and after destroying as much of society's demanding standards and mental trains of thought as possible; after all of this... to find the beauty and freedom and art in creating a magical fiction of perspective which is Spence Betway. I have love and hope for you all, but I may not always be there for you. I have more hope for humanity than anyone I know, not because it's logical or rational but because I feel more at peace considering thoughts of a global freedom and respect. I don't see things for what they are. I see things the way I want to see them. And that's perfectly fine with me. My only hope is to see a majority of things as beautiful and loving, because being on the side of hope and love and nonviolence and creation and progress is a far more beautiful place than the mind of a realist.
conservation prevents progress. progress promotes change. change prevents structure. structure promotes complacency. complacency prevents ambition. ambition promotes action. action destroys conservation. you can conserve only as much as you can handle without becoming insane. material comes and goes, but love perseveres copiously.
