Born July 2, 1981 in the City Zoo a.k.a."Charity Hospital" to the late great John Wakins & JoAnn Hilaire, the world was introduced to a new born star...Emmerrier Traimaine Watkins known to the streets as "Lady Isis". Came up in Edgard, La. but bred in St.Rose, La. She's thankful for and respect her grandfather Warren Hilaire who showed her what the real meaning of "HUSTLIN" meant. Rapping really wasn't what she wanted to do but had the talent to do it. She started out with "Bunny" long time childhood friend and business partner (T.H.G.) from rapping the 9'-o-clock props with the group known as M.T.K. ( Murder Thug Killas ) Red, Tre, and Murda Fiend. After graduating high school, she moved on to college where the "real world" began. This is where she discovered that there was a side to her that was wanting to come out. That's when Lady Isis was unleashed from her inner cave. She became the beast that she is today. Beasting is not just a form of action, it is also a way of life. She also has Emmerrier which is the sweet, and intelligent young lady that she is but, when Isis comes out it's a whole new era. Isis has really stepped up her game as far as rapping is concerned. "It's just the beginning stages now, wait until I get my feet planted in!" she quotes. 25 and alive single with no kids is her theme. She's very versatile, and open to rapping with anyone who is as serious about it as she is. With future and upcoming collabs with many groups she is sure to be more than just a street wide name.
