Like most people I have certain films that mean alot to me. I love Amadeus, Amelie, Life is beautiful, Cinema Paradiso, Bladerunner, Back to the future, Ghostbusters, Sin City, Carlito's Way, Schindlers List. This week :- Brick, An Inconvienient Truth, Children of Men, Babel, Stranger than Fiction.
Love simpsons that I haven't seen, anything with puffins or seals and david attenborough talking (smooth), good comedy, anything that ricky gervais has touched with his comedy midas mitten, jools Holland (just so i can try to mimic his voice) and i can give you the added bonus of my least favourite programme.... Casualty! How depressed is the guy who writes that!!!
I love reading the teachings of the Dalai Lama, Tolstoy's War & Peace, Dubliners by James Joyce, and at the moment I'm really feeling the work of Paulo Coehlo. Poetry wise I love Auden's rhythm and the ukranian poet, Yevgeny Yevtushenko:- http://lightning.prohosting.com/~zhenka/poemarchive.htmlThis week :- The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo
I think that the Dalai Lama is a wonderful example of a human being. Lennon for his cutting truth and my mom & dad because they gave me enough space to make my own mistakes. They also taught me that love is the most important thing! Ain't that the truth!!!
