Killer Kane were started by Arthur 'Killer' Kane in 1975 and had an EP released in 1976. The band members included W.A.S.P vocalist Blackie Lawless. With the Mr. Cool EP being the only one released from the band, they soon died out, however many die hard W.A.S.P fans have been trying to get this as this song was replicated by W.A.S.P on the Last Command album later on.

As most fans will know, there has been a lot of controversy regarding the EP, Arthur 'Killer' Kane, W.A.S.P, Randy Rhoads, Quiet Riot etc. So I think its first of all clearing all the misconseptions about.
1. Blackie Goozeman? Blackie Lawless...? Whats going on?
First of all, Blackie Goozeman and Blackie Lawless are both artistic names. His real name is Steven Edward Duren. Blackie Goozeman was his artistic name at the time of the release of the Mr Cool EP. Lawless changed his name shortly after. Arthur used this as a way to get out of paying royalties.
2. Cries in the Night? Mr Cool? Again, whats going on?
Basically, Lawless wanted to re-release Mr Cool. There are some very rare bootleg videos of him with Randy Piper (early guitarist of W.A.S.P) performin Mr Cool but on the Last Command, Blackie released it as Cries in the Night, the guys at Capitol told him to do that.
3. Why is Randy Rhoads & Quiet Riot often given credit for Mr Cool?
Around the time of 1987, many bootleg vinyls were released as a tribute of Randy Rhoads. It just happens many of the songs on these were done by Arthur 'Killer' Kanes next band, after Killer Kane, The Idolz, and Mr Cool is often labeled as Mr Cruel. One often referred to is 'Obscurity to Eternity' which has recordings from Killer Kane and The Idolz.
4. So, who were The Idolz?
The Idolz were the band that Arthur Kane joined after Killer Kane. They released such songs as Trecherous and Load Up. They did NOT contain Blackie Lawless.
5. Why are most The Idolz songs released as Quiet Riot songs?
Because of the many vinyls released in 1987 in tribute to Randy Rhoads. These contained songs like Trecherous and Load Up and gave all the credit to Quiet Riot whereas the originals were written by The Idolz.
