Biography
Fred White aka DJ Kvasi has been around as a DJ since the late eighties. As one of the founders behind Sweden's most important music event, the Arvikafestival, Fred began his career as a dj in 1988 on his own parties where he played electronic body music. After a couple of years of gigs on Swedish clubs and private parties he goes to London in the early 90's on holiday and discovers good electronic dance music and feels many similarities to the beloved EBM. He takes his experience and a lot of records back to Sweden and begin to spread his thoughts among his friends. He continues his search of the perfect party.
After taking the chance to book techno and psychedelic dance music into the Arvikafestival program in 92 and been responsible for all the dance booking for about 10 years has Fred played at the festival many years and proved that he knows how to take the crowd with strong and humble confidence.
Always 100% focused to do everything for the crowd and a big passion to electronic music makes him a very good DJ. He has played on German festivals like Voov Experience outside Hamburg and famous Fusion festival in the Berlin area.
In the past 4 years Fred has begun to produce his own tracks with a first release on the Planet BEN records label.
Dark and thoughtful music with an steady and clear goal. You feel and see things when you listen to Fred Whites music. This is only the beginning of a long and healthy artist career.
The search for the perfect balance in life and the perfect track is still on.
