DLOHL

DLOHL is Avihay Kadosh a 30 years old musician from Israel who currently lives in the Netherlands. Since I was a teenager I played in various Rock and Metal bands in the Krayot, the suburbs of the city of Haifa in northern Israel, one of the most fruitful sources of musicians in Israel. Among the bands were: OPUS, SACRIFICE,FALLEN LAMENATION and more. By the age of 21 I strated creating experimental electronic music which resulted in many songs&pseudo-songs in that time. Over the years I have gained more and more musical equipment and improved my knowledge and skills in composing, playing instruments and sound engineering. During this period I also played bass in a progressive rock trio for a year. In time it allowed me to make more "listenable" music and to better express what I wanted to acheive in music in the first place. Some works during these years were made with various partners and guest musicians amongst them: Zeev Dukman & Gilad Samocha of KRUNCH, DARMOCK, Moshe Yoffe(SHEZ), Danny the violinist, CHROMOZOME_TAN, and many more. It is very hard for me to define my music in terms of style since the various tracks are rather different, although there is obviously something common about them. In my words: intensity and melody with a tendency towards dark elements and a lot of influences from progressive rock.DLOHL would like to emphasize that all the songs on this page are on demo quality only, which is mainly revealed in the high frequencies.Now that 6 tracks are allowed in myspae I have reuploaded two songs: "Branes" and "Daend" featuring Danny the violinist from 2005-2006. New songs and remixed old songs will be up during the next few months.
