I'm a 23 years old girl from Denmark, I'm studying Southeast Asian studies at Copenhagen University, and learning Indonesian. I live in Helsing�r (Elsinore) with my boyfriend Martin.

I love traveling - it is truly my passion! My first out-of Europe-travel-experience was when I spent 3 months in India in 03/04, volunteering in a school in Shiv in Rajastan plus backpacking both in north and south.
I fell in love with India, and in Jan 05 I went again, this time around I brought my boyfriend (Martin) with me. After India we backpacked through Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, we were away for 6 months having the time of our lives! And now we share a passion for traveling.
In April 2006 I went to Oz (this time on my own) Spend 1,5 months going up the east coast, enjoyed camping on Moreton island as well as Fraser, and meet some lovely people. But The Center and The Top End was probably my favorite places in Oz. After Australia I went to Laos - LOVED it! Spend 2 fun and relaxing weeks there. The remaining part of my trip (1 month) I spend in Indonesia, loads of great memories!

On the 9th of June Martin and I will go to Indonesia, North Sumatra for about 3 weeks, we are very much looking forward to that! Afterwards I’m going to summer school in Singapore, for 5 weeks. Studying at NUS (National University of Singapore) with students from Yale, NUS and Copenhagen University, we are also going on field trips to Malaysia, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. It is going to be a LOT of hard work, but I also think it is going to be a great experience and I’m very excited about it! After the summer school I have 2 weeks before going home, I might spend them in Southern China with some friends.
My boyfriend and I have got big plans for 2008, we are hoping to venture of on a year long trip taking us from Russia back to India, and from Egypt to Zambia – and maybe somewhere in between squeeze in a few months in Indonesia. It is a fairly ambitious plan, but we hope we can make it happen!
