I'm the guy who put the Random in Chance (or was it the Chance in Random ??) way back in 1979. If you go to the 'Random Chance' photo below, just click on that to get to the site. At the moment, Random Chance has a new album - completed June 2007. It's called "Narcissus". At present, I've got 3 songs up from that forthcoming album. The newest track is 'Worst Case Scenario' with Mez Maclean on backing vocals, and the harmonica player, Paul Fitzpatrick. See what you think. Paul also plays harmonica on 'Half Full Half Empty' - a driving on the road song with a difference ! The title track, 'Narcissus' has Hannah Maclean on backing vocals. Last and not least, Alan Fergus is the man with the bass, kickass guitar and a claim to being born the very day the first Russian went into Space !! Totally relevant I tell you !! ....This album is also available in Perth Oz at 2 shops : 1) Mills Records, Fremantle .... and 2) Jumbo Video, Palmyra. I am currently working on a new album, Gargoyle, which Alan and I started in Scotland in July '07 at the never ever heard of location known as the StoneHouse studio in Northton, on the Island of Harris. Far Far away you say ? Not for some ! We got a visit from Steve Burgess who was on a cycle tour to remote places and had brought his fiddle. This was how we wrote "Northton". Alan came up later with a 60's riff which became "Sarong". The last song up on the Random Chance site is more recent, written by Alan with Alistair Aitken on guitar. This one sat around for months before I was able to find the time to write and record vocals in Jan '08 - now called "The Everlasting Maze". Since then I've started a new track again with a 60's feel... Why you say ? Dunno I reply !
