Mater Hospital Radio is now recruiting for volunteers.
All new team members will start by visiting patients in the hospital wards to let them know that there is a dedicated radio service, to talk to the patients and to take music requests and dedications from them. Having visited the patients, the volunteer will then come to the studio, go on air with the radio presenter and play the requested music.
We are seeking a commitment of two hours per week from each volunteer.
Training will be provided for patient visiting and for operating the studio equipment.
