About Me

What you're listening to right now is all written and recorded by me. However, for the past few weeks I've been in the process of writing/recording with my friends Brandon Bartee(Bass/Guitar/Vocals) (http://www.myspace.com/brandonjbmusic) and Jimmy Jackson(Drums/Guitar). Still looking for "the Voice"...Bono(U2) still hasn't returned our phone calls...and a name...we still need a name...hmmm...maybe I jumped the gun with this whole profile thing huh? Lol. Ah well. It gave me a chance to post some acoustic stuff I wrote a while ago and a venue to feel out responses to some of the stuff we'll be posting in the next few weeks. Thanks for dropping in! Peace.

Influences: Wow. Influences...let's say definitely my father (who would probably wish to remain nameless) Funny...and sad. My younger brother Daniel. He's always showing me new stuff. My friend Jim Perry...a simply amazing guitarist and as humble and down to earth as they come. (Had a blast with you at the Black Label show!) Frank Everett...the guy who showed me what "chop" is...I still don't have it Frank! Lol. Zakk Wylde (Ozzy/Black Label Society) Steve Lukether (Toto) Neil Schon (Journey) John Sykes (White Snake) Tom Scholtz (Boston) Phil Colin and Vivian Campbell (Def Leppard) Kirk Hamett (Metallica) Of course "Dime"(Pantera) We miss you. Let's see...Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, and Steve Via...even though they make me upset to my stomach they're so freakin' fast. Marc Tremonti (Creed/Alterbridge) Look out for that guy. He's going to be one of the "great ones." Hmm...Clapton. Hendrix. B.B. King. Gary Moore. James Taylor. The list goes on. As for bands that have influenced me in general other than the aforementioned...Citizen Cope. Staind. Crossfade. Breaking Benjamin. Revis. Adema. Linkin Park. Sevendust. Alice in Chains. Tonic. Coldplay. Duncan Shiek. Enigma. Bush. Nirvana. Live. Dave Mathews Band. Cold. Evanescence. Disturbed. Nickleback. Fuel. Seether. Hinder. Ben Kilgore and the Hero Factor. Blah blah blah...I'm forgetting so many but you get a glimpse.
Sounds Like: This is my friend Travis Hearne and I. I'm to the left soloing on the white PRS...enjoy... Sound Check at Deadtown
