About Me

Justified Truth is more than just your average gospel rapper. He is a man that preaches to the mind, heart and soul through the contemporary language of hip-hop. Growing up in Brownsville wasn't a positive situation as drugs, crime and homicide plagued the streets. Even throughout all of the negativity that surrounded him, God still chose this young man at the tender age of four to take His yoke and learn of Him. He got saved under the Brownsville Community Baptist Church, where some of New York's most popular music ministries were birthed to the likes of Pastor Timothy Wright, Pastor Jeffrey White, and Prof. Danny Eason just to name a few. As the years went by, the power of influence began to overshadow and Justified Truth left the church to experience what the world had to offer. He bagan to deejay at local house parties and live a life of promiscuity and delinquence. Even though he was the modern day Prodigal Son, Justified Truth continued to hear the voice of God calling him back to the church. In the Fall of 1998, God led Justified Truth to Pastor Jeffrey White and The Greater Temple of Praise and through Pastor White's spiritual knowledge and guidance, Justified Truth re-dedicated his life and found himself back in the arms of Jesus Christ and he hasn't looked back since. God's anointing began to fall steadily and Justified Truth experienced a fusion of hip-hop and gospel, but not just your ordinary gospel. Justified Truth has been commissioned to speak on the cancerous issues in our society in both the church and the world that no one chooses to discuss. His mission is to win the lost souls in the streets through the vein of holy hip-hop; to point at least one man, woman, boy, or girl to Jesus Christ. God is steadily elevating this young man to heights unknown, but yet he remains humble and faithful to the call and election of God.
