Putting the "and" in drum and bass

About Me

Stark Dangerous formed after a series of failed attempts at writing D&B between 2 people coming from completely different musical standpoints and interests. We were starting with a bassline or a beat and working from there until we had structure. It turned out that re-evaluating our approach to writing music made things a lot better and a hell of a lot dirtier. By creating the story everything fell into place and even gave inspiration on how to progress. Of course we were assisted by plenty of liquor and at any crossroads taking the most ridiculous path. The rhythm we constructed by prime numbers is in fact one of our favourite syncopations. Please beware songs posted are only snippets of 6-8 minute epics with vocal samples still to be added. We just picked the funkiest instrumental sections for your listening pleasure until it is all complete.
