About Me

In school, into biking, into team P&A. Cycling: I race for Bike Central (http://www.bike-central.com/shop.php) and get my training from Brian's House of Pain. Hopefully my 15+ hours a week will help dish out some kick ass next year. Someday my legs will look like Stephen Alfred's. Maybe. School: Finally. In 4 3/4 years I should be an elementary teacher with my own classroom. That's the plan at any rate. Team P&A: Got married a few years ago. It's pretty sweet. We came in a close second at the first ever married couple's sprint last summer. Check out Per's blog at http://psykbryt.blogspot.com

Sweden, day 1

We're here!  The trip was super easy, with a direct flight to Frankfurt.  Transferring in the US can tack on another five hours easy.  Of course we then had four hours to sit around bef...

heading out

We just got back from a crappy trip to PA for a poorly scheduled Masters Nationals event for Per.  He did get 2 silvers, which rocks, but the trip wasn't that great.  I'd gripe more, but I'm...

I'm learning about early SW history, and here's a good story I came across. In 1680 a 35 year old Jesuit priest, Padre Kino, rode north from Mexico into the wilderness that would be Arizona.  He w...

Six Day!

More racing to report.  This week is the Six Day at Alpenrose.  In the 1920s, when track racing was more popular than baseball, the pubic craved extravagance.  Instead of just one eveni...
