“9-17-85.” Now to some, these may appear to be numbers of no significance. But to the devil, it marked his D-Day. This was the day that Larry "JMARTYR" Knight was born. This young man would grow to be a powerful voice not only for youth, but for all-- male and female alike. Originating from Youngstown, Ohio he lived in the poverty-stricken projects, and like many others was without a father figure in the home.

Yet God had reserved plans to give him a unique ministry. At 11 months JMARTYR was burned severely, leaving him with very noticeable scars. However, with a praying mother and a God-ordained purpose, he is still alive today ministering (and has been since the tender age of 14). His first taste of ministry was when he was divinely linked with the E.B.E crew, under the leadership of Mark Supak. He began to travel, rapping about the truth that had set him free! In doing so, he has had the privilege of sharing the stage with 4th Avenue Jones, John Reuben, K-Drama, and many others.
Now he has been blessed with his very own platform. JMARTYR is destined to make Christ a priority in the lives of a lost world that would rather have God out of the picture. So you can imagine the risk, and that's where his name MARTYR comes from. Someone willing to testify or be a witness of the truth even if their life is at stake! This man is selfless indeed. He also attends WORLD HARVEST CHURCH where he serves and receives teaching from Pastor ROD PARSLEY...so look out world, because JMARTYR is a new kind of Christian!!!..
