A good movie is a good movie, but..., a good movie is not that..., if it doesn't possess a great script & an even greater film maker/ producer/ director like J.J. Abrams.
Now I didn't follow "Felicity"(The tv show). But I have seen "LOST", I have seen "Cloverfield", I have seen "Fringe" & most recently "Star Trek" yo. This man is a veritable multi-tasking & mind-bending super hero-monster his dam self!(LOL) Gotta give credit where due.
This vid is explaining what was behind the movie, his thought process & where he wanted to go & to whom he wanted th'movie to appeal.
And I admit..., the movie's genius!
He no doubt re-invented old into new. I often find that any true creator finds inspiration in life, in all it's facets & experiences..., period!
