Unable to contain their combined raw talents any longer, the four members of Summerhouse launched their uniquely acousticfolkindiebluespolka outfit back in mid'04 (or thereabouts).The combination of guitar/vocals (Richard), other guitar/harmonies (other Richard), accordian (Piers), and double bass (Kev) proved instantly engaging, at least for the players.Like a square pigeon in a round hole, the sound of the quartet has been variously described as "like Badly Drawn Boy", "Brechtian in its execution" and "Not bad, actually". Local followers / family members have seen the boys develop their material to become a category of their own - unafraid to defy the filing system.Future aspirations: "Doing what we do better and for more pay".I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
