Destiny is the only word that can describe EMPHASYS's skillz when it comes to rapping. He was born in the grimiest section of Brooklyn, NY, Bed-Stuy. He discovered his rapping talents when he was young freestyling with his father just joking around, he never took it serious though. He was first noticed by someone as a good rapper again in the year 2001. Once again he did not want to continue at it seeing it was a waste of time. Time passed and struggle after struggle and conflict after conflict, EMPHASYS'S demeanor changed. He kept to himself more and tryed to improve in all aspects to be the greatest at whatever he wants. He was introduced to rapping once more buy a childhood friend named Murda Melo. He kept telling him of a label that had just been started called GrQ. A couple freestyles later and a catchy recorded track it was settled.Young Dice (another childhood friend) as the president and ceo of the group, B-Boy, Murda Melo, Lady Rage, and the new EMPHASYS now make up the Group GrQ. Being the fighter and perfectionist that he is, EMPHASYS strives to rap until it is clear that he is the best rapper. You can tell from his famous quote that tells of his name; "I am here to put the EMPHASYS back on real music."
