The Folk Project is a not-for-profit folk music, storytelling, and dance organization which sponsors or organizes a wide variety of folk activities in the Northern New Jersey area.
The Folk Project sponsors several individual events, including the Minstrel Coffehouse (Morristown, NJ on Friday nights), Swingin' Turn Contra Dances (Chatham, NJ on 1st and 3rd Saturdays), Spring and Fall Folk Festivals, Horses Sing None of It! (Cable TV show), and more.The Minstrel Coffeehouse is a venue in which the Folk Project lines up talented musicians for an enjoyable evening concert.Contra dancing is an enjoyable activity for all ages, and can be found here .
