Beejâ„¢

I am: funny, weird, supportive, kind, loyal, generous, considerate, daring, patient, articulate, smart, strong, honest, and genuine. A wonderful friend and a spectacular parent. I am down to earth in accordance with the law of gravity.
I am not: high maintenance, needy, dependent, demanding, backstabbing, controlling, mean, snobbish, judgmental (okay, sometimes I am but I try not to be), or angry.
I like: crowded places, not crowded places, driving, flying, movies, laughing, Monty Python, George Carlin, Pete Townshend, Birkenstocks, snow (and the activities one does in snow, and no I don’t mean ‘write my name in it’), sun, water, taking photographs of everything, playing with my kid, spending time away from my kid, planning adventures, putting some of those plans into action, hanging out with my extended family, ditto for friends, laughing, making fun of myself, reading, writing. I like language - the way it’s used, the way it changes. I like an occasional beer or three. I like being excited - you know that feeling while on the way to a (insert favorite band) show or the night before a trip or being somewhere (or with someone) great? Like that.
I don’t like: dishonesty, manipulation, superiority, closed-mindedness, celebrity gossip, or turnips. I don't follow trends for the sake of following trends.
