He's a sweety and the best hubby ever (like I would know the difference considering this is the first [and only time I plan on])and will be a super-great dad. Love him SOO much!!I'm a first grade teacher in Indiana.I'm always busy, don't get to see my freinds and family enough, but I figure once I get settled into this job, I'll have files created and won't have to create EVERYTHING every day. I do enjoy it and to those that say it's great to be a teacher because you get 3 months out of the year off and get paid for a full year - poo on you! I'll be spending the entire summer in my room making it more effective for learning - hopefully. :-)

Morphine, Ween, Wilco, Gorillaz, Sun Kil Moon, Iron and Wine. I've become obsessed with Death Cab for Cutie - I'll follow you into the dark, such a sad song, but SOO great. Jim White is GREAT! I'll always have a special place in my heart for No Doubt/Gwen Steffani - they got me with "I'm Just a Girl." Cold Play, James Blunt. Jack Johnson. Really like Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse. Just discovered Cat Power, which is very moody sounding, but way cool. Her voice is amazing - really different.

Movies:

Office Space, Frailty, V for Vendetta, Super Troopers, Pirates of the Caribbean, Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken, State Fair - one of the only musicals I enjoy, and it's got to be the original, not the one done in the sixties - it's got a lot of memories. Little Miss Sunshine is so twisted and wonderful!! Absolutely love Stranger Than Fiction - not what you would expect and makes you think. Even if you don't like Will Farrell, you've GOT to watch it.

Television:

The Office, My Name is Earl, Scrubs, CSI sometimes, if I want to get bummed or grossed out.

Books:

Lord of the Flies, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (it's really nothing like the movies portray, like, at all), many of the C.S. Lewis books - The Screwtape Letters, of course the Chronicles of Narnia, Thank You Mr. Falker, SkippyJon Jones and all the spinoffs of it, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. Yes, they are kids books - what do you expect? I'm a teacher after all. :-)

Heroes:

Sanora Webster, teachers that have made a difference in children's lives.
