Supersonic Rocketship is a quartet that was formed at the jazz department at Trondheim University and the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. The band’s starting point is within the modern jazz tradition, but is just as likely to find inspiration in rock, as well as improv and free jazz. The compositions are mainly written by the band members.
