I am a passionate, caring, dedicated, liberal and open person who enjoys traveling, camping, sailing, swimming, outdoor activities and the outdoors, the arts, cooking, meeting and interacting with people, and learning new things. I always put forth my best effort in all that I do. I strive to continue to develop as a person. As such, I am almost always open to new and novel experiences.I am do not like to waste a lot of time or play around. I do enjoy going out with family and friends for leisurely time, like going to dinner, the movies, fun parks, nightclubs and so on. Additionally, I am an eclectic artist. I enjoy a vast array of art forms, including photography, sculpture, drawing, ceramics, textiles, printmaking, etc. Actually, by my own admission, I am a little obsessed with Photography and photographic equipment. My sister and brother-in-law would contest to that.With my passion for the arts and helping others, I am pursuing a career in teaching. I am working towards becoming a middle-school art (and English) teacher. I enjoy working with and for children. I have been doing so consistently since I was 14 years old.I love animals, particularly cats and large birds. I am a cat person partially due to cats being independent, cuddly and lovable.In regards to my personal quirks, I have a sense of humor that is peculiar to say the least. Some may say it includes a bit of non-witty wittiness, depravity and matter-of-fact(ness). At times, given the audience, it can be a bit morbid and dark as well. The kids I have worked with and for have regularly called be strange, wacko, silly, weird, strange, bizarre and crazy (but in a good way). To this I always reply "THANK YOU!"I enjoy being physically active and getting out of the house. However, I also enjoy cuddling, having meaningful conversations and sharing my experiences with others. I am a reliable person. I have a lot to offer someone and those in my circle.
