..Hello my name is Steve Spenceley aka Dj Grandmaster Vicious I'm a dj that plays rock n' roll, punk rock, indie, hip hop and other rubbish as well, I live in Melbourne but I'm originally from Perth, I use to be in the the music scene in Perth managing bands, djing and best known for booking the Hyde Park Hotel. In Melbourne town I started to take my djing seriously, and have run nights all over the place, such as Stereo Royale @ the Brunswick Hotel, Skills to pay the Bills @ The Brunswick Hotel, POO @ Club UK, My First Knife Fight @ J36, Fuck Art, Let's dance @ Club UK (the infamous Wednesday $2 pint night), Drive It Like You Stole It @ pony, Tik Tok Toyko @ Brazen Lounge and I had residency's @ SWITCH & SPEED in their Retro rooms, a one year residency called "Fuck You And Yours" @ Tilt Bar with Dik from Melbourne punk rock legends No Idea also Dodgy Disco in The Wintergarden Room upstairs @ The Exford Hotel w/ Dj My Vodka Says (aka Dj Baby Snakes), Drive It Like You Stole It w/ DIK {No Idea} @ The Royal Park Hotel, Drive It Like You Stole It @ The Rochester Hotel, Spit Or Swallow @ Gertrudes Brown Couch with Boris Otterdam (Noistruct) & Dik Idea (No Idea) and SHADOWPLAY (Old School Goth Night) @ One Da Land with Boris Otterdam (Noistruct), Kill Her, Ben Ebola plus special guests.. I also do guests spots at Pony bar in Melbourne city and parties, pub and club all over Victoria and At the moment I'm doing My own Graveyard show called BRASS KNUCKLES (previously called Fuck You And Yours so far going 4 years) with Boris Otterdam and Dj Kill Her plus Special guests I love music of all kinds, as long as its good, in Perth I help start or keep alive scenes like Aussie Hip Hop, noise, old school punk, indie, shoegazer and acoustic, I love all the people and Bands I've help along the way such as The Panics, Downsyde, Bob Evans, Jed Whitey, The Critics, The Rats, the Homicides, Capital City, Sin City etc etc etc Currently I am "Steve The Friendly Punk" (a name given to me by The Panics) Merch Guy for The Panics and have also worked for other bands such as Whitley, Oh Mercy and Little Red I also do standup comedy from time to time especially during the Melbourne comedy festival under the name "STEVE VICIOUS" Well thats me I'm sick of writing now... I have to return some video tapes......
