Dear Diary

After the break up of my band, Stripped Of His Wings, I started to just play some acoustic here and there. I didn’t really take too much of it seriously, but still going under the name Dear Diary.In the fall of 2004, I met up with Derek Goertz (who I co-wrote “Time & Structure” with); we immediately hit it off and started jamming on a regular basis. With extenuating circumstance Derek had to leave Dear Diary, hopefully he will join again some day. I recruited another guitar player/writer some time in early New Year 2005, friend and member of the prog-rock band The White Chapel District, David Prendergast. Although an amazing musician, time restrictions and busy schedules made it nearly impossible for Dave to continue with Dear Diary. At this point the Dear Diary project went on the back burner and slowly died out.The spring and summer of 2005 brought on some pretty harsh times, charging an array of creativity and resurrecting Dear Diary. As I didn’t really know what I wanted to do with the music it again fell to the bottom of the priority list until now.I finally decided just to go into the studio record and have fun with it. If people like it AWSOME, if not well it was fun.At this time I have only recorded the small sample Demo entitled “The Final Entry” with help from Derek Goertz, Shauna Thompson, Teija Aspegren and Miguel Gauthier. I would also like to thank Chops for managment and promotion and Keithy D for the art work. It’s a 4 song EP 2 songs with full lyrics and 2 instrumentals with monologs, which shall be released soon.
