What about me? Well here is the story as I would have it be told. I have just turned 36 this year; I celebrated my 13th Wedding Anniversary this year as well. In the definition I would have given myself I am an Old Married Guy. I am the very proud father of three amazing boys Andrew, Carter, and Hayden. As many of you know last year I made some personally difficult life changes in order to get my life in order and on the right track. I honestly cannot think of a time that I was happier in my marriage, and felt more loved than I have in the beginning of this year. I think that both Cindy and I have come a long way and continue to get better at being married. I have for most of my life been hiding behind people, things, and false personalities in order to survive. It took much prayer and the wisdom of good friends and family that I have been able to begin to present the real me to the world.My new myspace name is KSHOOPRELOADED; the reason I chose this is not really that complicated I had created the identity “Shmoo†when I was working at KDUK to allow me the freedom act in ways that “Kevin†would not. I still have a love and desire to play music and entertain people and I am looking at some projects that will allow me to still do that. The challenge is to find a way to do those things for me that are not potentially damaging to my marriage and family. I am Kevin Shoop and I would say that my life and what is truly important has been “Reloaded†into a new and more confident person, without hiding behind false identities.
