Welcome to the Myspace home of Andre' Cotman, Jazz & Gospel Saxophonist! I am always looking to meet new people and network with other musicans. I am also the sax player for the Oasis of Jazz, Gospel & Jazz Band www.oasisgospelandjazz.com and for Gospel Artist Hope Askew www.hope-askew.com.
Currently, i'm working on two projects: A Jazz CD entitled Paradise, and a gospel album. My song "Timeless" from the Paradise album has been posted on this site for your listening enjoyment! My Bio:
Andre' is a Smooth Jazz & Gospel Saxophonist making music that speaks to your heart and sooths your soul. A lover of Contemporary Jazz & Electronic Music, Andre' fuses these two genres in a unique way. Andre' also expresses his love for the King through Gospel music.
A native of Newport News, Virginia, Andre' started playing the saxophone at 11 years old. Andre' has opened up for popular Christian singer Vicki Winans and was featured in a spotlight article of Unity Magazine. Andre' has also featured as a guest artist in two television productions on Hampton Roads Station Wavy TV 10: Spread A Little Sunshine (Hosted by Mrs. Sarah Curry) and Taste of the Arts.
Andre' is the saxophonist at Bethel Temple Church in Hampton, Virginia, Oasis of Jazz and Gospel Artist Hope Askew. Andre' is available to perform at weddings, concerts, venues, coffeehouses, your Church, or as a cover musician. Visit www.andrecotman.com for more information!
