My sound is intimate and my material weaves in and around the good old American Song Books with a few classics borrowed to make my own (often Popular tunes addressed with a Jazzy feel.).
I have some new projects in the pipe line (a Joni Mitchell project and also a purely Latin set) so watch this space if Jazz isnt your cup of tea.I was asked recently to name who my influences were and i had reams of them, so to name a few of mine...Nat King Cole, Joni Mitchell, Anita Baker, Ivan Lins, Diane Reeves, Nancy Wilson... There's so many, i couldn't possibly say i had the incredible instruments they were gifted with but i certainly try and capture the essence of what they do. The list is endless!
