About Me

Memoirs of a Douchebag chronicles the adventures of John Box as he spends a year traveling around Japan, teaching English, and discovering himself, nightly. Through this life-changing journey, John comes to such revelations as: he hates working, and kids, and food that makes liver spots drenched in mucous seem like creme brulee. Further, through this inter-cultural experience, John learns some important life-lessons like how different Japanese are from Americans...and how similar. Fucking mind-blowing shit. Plus, he'll feel you up.

And check out the above myspace blog. John will be posting some sample entries from the book here as well as some new posts every week or two. This here is where he'd like to hear what you have to say. Stuff like: "Awesome. Can I buy more than one copy of your book?" and "Sweet. Are you accepting groupies?" and "This is great! Why didn't you publish this sooner?"
And just so's you know, the answer to those questions are "yes," "Yes," and "Back off shithead, these things take time."
Check out some other photos from Japan via the Pics link underneath the picture of the book cover up there.
