About Me

American Gun Culture Report is a Portland, Oregon based journal dedicated to freeing America's firearms media from the legacy of Jeff Cooper (RIP) and every other bigot who has given gun owners a bad name. The NRA does not represent us all and it's time to let people know. AGCR aims to defend human rights AS WELL AS gun rights. Our agenda includes social justice AND the freedom to defend oneself. In this spirit, AGCR stands against corporate politics, corporate wellfare and corporate warfare. We represent the people you wouldn't know exist from reading mainstream magazines like Guns & Ammo and American Rifleman. There are millions of gun owners and we don't all vote Republican, (or Democrat) embrace the Patriot Act or support other wartime crackdowns on our rights. AGCR is committed to forcing the national gun culture to expand where it already rightly exists- among Libertarians, feminists, Anarchists, queers, punks, Socialists, environmentalists, and rivetheads, to cite just a few.
