BRENDA started DJ'ing in 1991 at a small wine bar in London. Following this she held a semi-residency at "KNOWLEDGE", which was co-promoted by Colin Faver, Colin Dale and Jane Howard. In 1993 when "KNOWLEDGE" finished, she joined the two Colin's to organise and promote "DEEP SPACE" parties in central London until 1997. She has played at numerous clubs & events around the world for over a decade.
Her first international booking was at the Oxa Club in Switzerland, where she had the honour of being the first female DJ to play at the venue. Other gigs have included the Mayday event, The Omen and Tresor (Germany), Rex Club (France), Twilo (USA), Moog (Barcelona), Biosphere (Austria) and The Fuse (Brussels) to name a few! She also performed at various events on the Frontpage Magazine "Natural Born Ravers and "Total Confusion" tours. Her DJ'ing has also lead her further a field to Seoul in South Korea (for a Casio party to promote G Shock watches), Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Yugoslavia, Russia, Georgia, Croatia, Turkey, Portugal, Hungary, Slovenia, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Israel, USA, Canada, South America and Japan. UK gigs have included Fabric, Haywire Sessions, Ultimate Base, Open to Torture, Lost, Universe's Voyager and Atomic Jam to name a few.
Not content with only DJ'ing in clubs, BRENDA has gained experience in radio presentation. This has included a 3 hour show on KISS 100 FM London, Brazen Radio's "Women in Music Festival" and Euronet Weekend Rave, (on satellite and cable networks). Interviews and her live mixes have also been aired on Carl Cox "Global" (Worldwide), ORF (Vienna), KISS FM (Berlin), B-92 (Belgrade/Serbia), GAIA LIVE, GROOVETECH and MINSTRY OF SOUND RADIO LIVE on the internet. Her mix has also been broadcasted on TóiN Eletro Cultura, Rádio Cultura FM Belém, Brazil. She was the 1st female DJ who is not from Brazil presenting her music on their radio show. Other mixes have been aired Pure Dance Radio, Worldwide DJ.net, Southern FM, Lochbroom FM, Energy FM and Radio Regije, 107.9mHz in Serbia.
Between 1994 and 1998 BRENDA worked at Phuture Trax, where she was responsible for Club and Radio Promotions on Techno and Experimental music. A few of the projects she worked on were Carl Cox's FACT 1 compilation, (which she was awarded a BP Disc for sales of over 100,000 copies), Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier, The Advent, Steve Stoll and Slam.
She also contributed to the Techno pages when Generator magazine was first launched writing record reviews and interviewing DJ's & artists and worked as a freelance A&R consultant for Nova Mute.
In early 1998 she was approached by the artist ACCESS 58 to help them build their profile. BRENDA helped them to start their own record label ACCESS 58 RECORDS and helped them promote their releases. She also worked on the press promotion for SOUL DESTROYAZ - DESTROYED album on Synewave Records in 1999. In January 2000 she became responsible for press promotion for the weekly club night, Ultimate Base, one-off Ultimate Base specials and Open to Torture parties. In March 2001 Ultimate Base clubnight closed and BASE was launched in April 2001. BRENDA was one of the resident dj's and she was responsible for the promotion of the night until the venue closed in 2003.
Her contribution to the scene and determination to succeed led her to compile 4 compilation albums and produce one track to date.

Determined to push new boundaries, she started a new record label project on_test in 2000, to help promote unknown, up and coming, as well as established producers.
She is currently working at Radical PR promoting mainly compilation albums, artist albums and singles to Radio stations throughout the UK. Some of the projects she has worked on have included Laurent Garnier, Jeff Mills, Robert Owens, Marshall Jefferson, 4Hero, Bugz in The Attic, Miguel Migs, Unabombers, Eric Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Jocelyn Brown, Jose Padilla, Andy C, DJ Hype, Hed Kandi and Pete Lawrence's 'The Big Chill Album'.
