Disturbed Kaos Society

About Me

The story of Disturbed Kaos Society starts like many others: in the mid-90's, 3 uncool guys in the small town of Salon-de-Provence bump into each others in high school or at the local rock venue, Le Portail Coucou. They exchange mixtapes of their favorites songs and of course, they're ending picking instruments to form their own metal band.
The difference is that while others are following trends and are changing their t-shirts collection every 6 months, DKS (as lazy journalists will later call them) are mixing their very own blend of music mixing any side of the metal spectrum (thrash, black, heavy etc) with all the other musics they like.
Thanks to their originality, their two self-produced self-recorded demos ("Birth Of The Blast" and "I Shot Kurt Cobain") get rave reviews in nationwide and worldwide publications. Among a pile of pressclips, they're their hometown's first band to ever be in the pages of the leading French metal magazine Hard'N'Heavy and one of the very few French band to make it into Kerrang! and Terrorizer.
Their unfortunately rare live performances become stuff of local legend, especially considering they're usually getting banned of every venue they play (all but Le Portail Coucou! Thanks William!).
Rumours spread like churchfires (Did they really kill that pig? Did they really drink that much vodka? Do they really like Boney M?). The latest is that after 3 years of iatus, they would have started to work on new stuff...
