I love teaching my students and learning with them. I'm interested in working with people that have autism. Getting through to these people is an amazing feeling, and I know then that I have truly blessed them. Most of my time is consumed by making lesson plans for my class, but when I have some time I like to read, watch movies, spend time with friends and family. Some of my favorite things are Laffy Taffy jokes, Laughing, Good Personalities, Smiling, scrapbooking, taking pictures, being creative, singing at the top of my lungs, puppies, volunteering, sleeping in, people, dancing, reading, swimming, getting dressed up, travel, helping others, giving, seeing people smile and being a friend. I love playing halo2 late at night with my .. buddies. They can't believe I'm a girl when I beat them all.

Music:
I love all kinds of music-classical, Christmas, jazz, blues, oldies, ect... I love Ray Charles, Corrine Baily Ray, Billie Holiday, Norah Jones.. I mostly listen to music in the car and loudly sing along. I love using music in the classroom, the kids have so much fun.
Movies:
I almost watch a movie every night. I love movies, I think people can learn so much through them. I like watching the special features, or listening to the directors commentary. I could make a huge list of favorites, but there isn't enough room.
Television:
Family Guy, That 70's Show, House, Project Runway, Roseanne, King of the Hill, SVU, football, history and discovery channels,
Books:
Tuesdays with Morrie has changed my life. If you haven't read it you need to. I have a deep love for books, and I want to write children's books some day. You can learn about or how to do anything through reading. Teaching kids to reading is giving them the most wonderful gift you could give them.
