A Message from Gracie's Mom
Most Wonderful Friends of Gracie,
I am so sad to share with you the news that my sweet girl left her body behind and journeyed off to Rainbow Bridge on January 6.
Gracie was a very happy, lively, and healthy girl until lymphoma appeared. Despite huge amounts of love and care, she wasn't able to overcome the disease. It progressed at a fast pace, but she stayed happy and surrounded in love right up to the end. If she had to go, I'm grateful that she didn't suffer. She passed on in the early morning while sleeping near me.
Gracie was very social--she loved people and other dogs and could charm just about anyone. Her fan base was large! I was surprised (and delighted) by the number of friends, dogs included, who came to our little burial ceremony.I miss her terribly. And all your messages and comments have been more comfort to me than you can imagine.
I'll keep her MySpace page up for a little while and will post some more photos of her when I can.
Hugs to you and yours,
Prakasha (Gracie's mom)
