My name is Alex Ryder but am commonly known as FONTS SHIRAZ.(stupid fuckin name, i know!!) I'm in the rock n'roll band......MR SHIRAZ. Me and my bro Mikey sing for this beautiful entity of punk and delights.
Its taken me fucking ages to get my arse in gear and set up a myspace and I'm shit with computers, give me a guitar and a bottle of Jack any day!!I was born in Huddersfield and have lived here ever since... one day i'll move out of here, but its home. I've been playing guitar for 14years and singing all my life. Music is my life- purely and simple!!!The band have an album out in the shops called 'I'M INVINCIBLE, I'M BUILT LIKE A SHERMAN TANK; SOMEBODY TRY AND STOP ME!' which is released through 10past10Records (now Triumphant Sound Records). In early 2007 we were taken on by M.I.A. Management in the United States. In July 2007 we took our first trip over there and did a successful tour starting in Long Beach, California, going as far north as Seattle and as far south as New Orleans, Louisiana.
As for my personal beliefs I love anything heretical and anti Christian and have read lots of books on the matter. I guess i'm on my own personal search for the truth. Christianity to me was a purely politcal movement when it started out but turned into one the most oppressive forces ever!!! I guess i'm still quite a spiritual person; just because of these beliefs does'nt mean i dont believe in God.
Other than my views on that, i'm all about FUN, LOVE and anything generally that is ROCK N' ROLL!!!
