About Me

Brought up in Norway with a Norwegian mother and a Turkish father who both play instruments Sibel started to appreciate music at an early age. When she was 7, she convinced her parents to buy a piano, and by the time she was 11 she started writing songs. Her style is influenced by folk, acoustic, experimental and ethnic music.
