Let's start of at the beginning. The year 1962. The Beatles audition their music with music producer George Martin at Abbey Road Studios. Images of Soviet missile and antiaircraft installations we're taken over Cuban airspace by U-2 spyplanes, used to brief President Kennedy and his advisers. I saw the light of day in the beautiful town of Groningen (the Netherlands). To my parents, my mom was born in Amsterdam, my father in Niebert near Leeuwarden in the north of Holland. I grew up in a little town called Leek, also went to school there. But after finishing school at the age of 19 I realized I had to move to the "big" city Groningen where I was born. There it was where I started my carier as a singer, to name a few; Yo Willy!, Leader and Angle. Toured Holland, Germany and Belgium, played at Monsters Of Rock and Dynamo, we sold a few records in Japan and were a small part of the rising Heavy Metal scene. Now I'm living in Hannover (Germany) for almost 8 Years. That's where I started promoting, coaching and managing rockbands, and of course booking them gigs, doing their laundry, gettin' them lots of beers, gettin them out of bed, ask their moms and dads for permission playing some gig etc etc etc.. And above all that planing and organising festivals and concerts, mainly Germany. Well that was just a short story, but it wasn't all!!!
