Tracy´s Avenue

Jonte started the band in 2000. He started as a drummer and his brother Alex played guitar. In late 2001 Jonas became second guitar player. And the band took the name "The Rag Dolls". They began to write their own music and things really started to work out. There were some different constellations with bass players and singers and the band ended up with no singer at all. Jonte became a singing drummer.
The first demo was recorded in 2002. It was called "Blues on Ecstasy". At this point the band changed the name into Zealous Zippers. In 2003 the bassplayer left the band and Jonny took his place. The band was now excisting of Jonte: Vocals and drums, Alex: Guitar, Jonas: Guitar and Jonny: Bass.
A second demo was recorded in 2004 and it was called "Nobody Cares". Zealous Zippers spent a lot of time in rehearsals. But since Jonte still was a singing drummer the band couldn't perform any proper gigs. So the question was: A new drummer or a new singer? Auditions for both alternatives were arranged but nothing interesting showed up.
The band wasn't satisfied with the name Zealous Zippers and changed it into Tracy's Avenue.
In 2005 Jonny's brother Kim joined the band as a drummer. Everything was working out perfect. Jonte could leave the drums and start singing seriously. But then Kim had to leave the band because of a job. The rest of the guys was sick of it all and the band almost broke up. But then Peter showed up. He started as a drummer in 2006. Then Tracy's Avenue suffered their next big defeat. Alex left the band and the town for studies. So Jonny took his place as a guitar player and Kalle was recruited as a new bass player. A five track EP was recorded in Lemon Recording Studio in Klippan by Martin Ekelund. It was named "C'mon Demons".
Another EP was recorded in February 2008, also by Martin Ekelund at Lemon Recording Studio. This EP contains 7 tracks and got the title "The Rabbit Chase".
That is pretty much the story of Tracy's Avenue and this is where they are today.
