About Me

Some Damned English City is officially taking a break.

STORY OF THE BAND
Some Damned English City is a super-group of sorts.
The three members are regulars at a local club known as Soma36’s open mic night. The group began when Tony and Sarah got together to record some full band versions of her solo stuff. They both felt the chemistry and decided they should take the next logical step and form an actual band. The obvious addition was Jason.
Tony and Jason had gotten together before with the idea to create a noise rock band, however neither seemed to be ambitious enough to start writing songs.
So it was the combination of these two small projects, and these three local artists that began the so-called super-group known as Some Damned English City.
STORY OF THE NAME
It is in reference to a song no one in the band has ever heard, by a band two of us love.

Polish Mazurka
I wonder who put it together?
