I live 30 miles west of Atlanta GA. I moved to GA from Iowa 20 (1989) years ago from Iowa. I have 4 daughters, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. I love to go out and have fun but presently I am dealing with a husband of 43 years who has frontal lobe dementia (no reasoning) and alzheimer's. My 22 year old daughter stays home during the day to watch him. It is difficult to deal with it.I make angels out of safety pins and beads besides other beaded ornaments. make quilts, and finishing up stuff I have started.I do my own yard work, because there is no else to help. I don't ask anyone to help me anymore. I am trying to do things myself. I can paint, lay floor tile and many other things due to my Dad, who I love dearly. I was the oldest. I had to help Dad and I watched him a lot and learned from him. My younger brothers got up to an age and they filled my place. My Mom was always there for me too. She showed me a lot of things and made me strong. My parents are still living in their own home. They are 89. We are blessed.I love cats and dogs, I have a Cocker who is now 12 years old. I have 6 cats all together. Each one has their rescue story.If it was not for these animals right now I really would not know what to do. At least they give you unconditional love and they like you talking to them.
