2012 is a community orientated, educated, positive Hip-Hop crew comprised of 4 diverse individuals coming together in the name of raw style and community building. Keith Blocker, Noah Prince, Charhys Bailey and Alan Wong were already known in their respected communities for their professional and volunteer work, mentoring and teaching urban and suburban youth. When they came together a year ago they knew they wanted to continue a legacy of helping youth fulfill their dreams, and promote a message of education, good health and the use of creativity to overcome obstacles. 2012 has been holding it down in Tac-town facilitating and leading original workshops that unlock the creativity in young people. In our workshops, youth are given a taste of our live performance as well as a chance to create their own original works that tell their stories, victories, dreams and challenges.
