About Me

HEARTPWR BLOGLove: that's what I write about and everything I share is based on academic research. One of my masters is in Interpersonal Communications (Az State Univ.); the other one is in Human Development/Psychology/Education (Harvard). I also have twenty years experience working professionally with companies on their internal relationships. I very much appreciate your inputs, insights, and feedback on the blog. (see also tamelalewis.com)When asked if I do all the things I write about: Yes, I do try to practice what I preach--how do you think I learned them??? lol For sure, I don't do them perfectly, but then I go back to the drawing board and figure out where I missed it. I think of all of these insights as skills and I think of practicing these skills like an athlete--always practicing, always improving, having "off-days," but always working to get better and better. I don't think you need to be an "Olympian" to have a great relationship, but I do think you need to know something about the skills of communication, etc. to be productive and happy in relationships AND to have a happy partner.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

RELATIONSHIP COACHING Struggling to Get Over the Loss of a Love? Enmeshed in Endless Conflict? Hoping to Change Relationship Patterns? Struggling with Communication Issues?Because many of you have asked, I offer individual/Couple Relationship Coaching. I am a trained mediator (U.S. Postal Service and Harvard Law School) and a communication specialist. One of the highest compliments I have received from a client is this: "She is no-nonsense, but nice." I strive to make real progress with real kindness.
