Golly! Edna is in your extended network!Going out and having a good time with my friends. I don't care what we do, I'm open to trying most things, I just love spending time with the people I really care about. I do have some of my own interests as well, but they tend to change quite a lot.
WHITNEY HOUSTON!!! I don't care if she's a druggie, she's a goddess!! And Sean Heyes, I love him. OOH and David Tennant! I've seen the back of his head from across the road when they were filming 'Blackpool' (series on BBC a while ago), and even that had me goin' weak at the knees!
I'm partial to a bit of everything from time to time, to suit my mood. I love my old camp classics: Aretha Franklin, Gloria Gaynor, WHITNEY HOUSTON, Lisa Stansfield, The Vengaboys are absolute legends... I love 60's, 70's and 80's disco music, musicals (anything by Andrew Lloyd Webber is fine by me!)... Though I have a very wide appreciation for music. You may also find me enjoying classical music, or 'easy listening' like G4, Il Divo or the Choirboys, or Evanescence, Lost Prophets, Marilyn Manson.... I tend to find with most artists there will be the occasional song I will listen to quite happily, so people are often surprised to hear me listening to anything that isn't a gay anthem, but I assure you it does happen!
Oooh where to begin?!?!?! I LOVE romantic comedies. My Best Friend's Wedding, Notting Hill, Bridget Jones, The Wedding Planner, Closer, Runaway Bride, Pretty Woman, Love Actually... the list could go on forever.Then there's 'dramas' like Stepmom, Mona Lisa Smile, About a Boy...Musicals: Wizard of Oz, Chicago, Moulin Rouge, Phantom of the Opera, Dirty Dancing, Sister Act...Comedies: Shrek, Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers, Zoolander, 50 First Dates, Bowfinger, Monty Python, Austin Powers, Shaun of the Dead, Finding Nemo (ALL Disney movies are AMAZING!), Airplane...Even action films: James Bond (all of them!), Die Hard, The Transporter, The Matrix, Indiana Jones, Speed...Where does Pirates of the Caribbean fit in? Nah, deserves to be on it's own. Johnny Depp = legend.I also love some French Films: 8 Femmes, Les Choristes, Drole de Felix, Ma Vie En Rose...I could go on forever! But I won't. But I will add HAIRSPRAY onto the list! Amazing film!!
Desperate Housewives, The Apprentice and Doctor Who (David Tennant rocks my world) are my current top 3.I also like Torchwood, The Vicar of Dibley, Bad Girls, QI, Never Mind the Full Stops, Absolutely Fabulous, French and Saunders, Coupling, Scrubs, Friends, Top Gear, Ugly Betty... and I'm a sucker for any kind of singing competition: Pop Idol, X Factor, Any Dream will do etc...
The Lord of the Rings, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, Harry Potter, The Life of Pi, The Chronicles of Narnia (particularly the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe), A Christmas Carol, The Color Purple, The Secret Garden, His Dark Materials trilogy, the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy... that's enough.
My friends are my heroes. They're all amazing and I love them all dearly.
